Experience
Has worked within the Defence sector for 8 years, most recently within Defence Equipment & Support, leading the Lean Support Continuous Improvement Programme. He was a Management Board member managing the Atos Consulting support in the Maritime, Land, Fixed and Rotary Wing environments. He designed many of the innovative processes and tools that LSCIT deploys in order to drive waste out of military equipment support chains helping the programme to deliver ~£1bn of financial and output improvement benefits over a 6 year period.
He has also led a number of Lean Transformation programmes such as at RAF Benson and also designed and implemented materials and maintenance planning and control systems for aircraft, components and materials.

- Developed the Optimised Support Planning (OSP) methodology in partnership with the LSCIT
- Developed the Support Options Matrix (SOM) - a means of classifying innovative equipment support arrangements – in partnership with the LSCIT
- Managed delivery of ~£1 billion of efficiency savings in Defence through the Lean Support Programme
