With over 20 years of procurement experienced gained in large blue chip organisations and in consulting, he is skilled in introducing change to organisations that have identified a need for procurement to better meet the needs of the business. His particular areas of competence are Procurement Strategy, Opportunity Assessment, Category Management facilitation and coaching and Programme Management.
Experience
An experienced Procurement practitioner in both line roles and consulting, with a wide experience of using, training, coaching and facilitating category management projects within many different organisations ranging from industrial to construction, financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, transport, postal, confectionary and public sector.
He is the Atos Consulting lead for Procurement Strategy due to his knowledge and interest in identifying and developing procurement organisations capabilities.
Initially working in Manufacturing in various buying and line management roles, he has a wealth of practical experience to pull on, as well as the last 6 ½ years in procurement consultancy with UK, European and Global organisations.
His category experience ranges from injection moulding, castings, forgings, fuel pumps, bearings and packaging to airline catering and bonded goods, uniforms, cleaning, security, facilities management, contract bus services and temporary labour/recruitment to name but a few.
His particular competences include category management, opportunity assessments, procurement strategy, cost modelling, project management, organisation design and change, skills assessment, coaching and facilitation.
